All Makes Office Equipment Co. has been headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, since Harry Ferer founded it as All Makes Typewriter Co. in 1918 not far from where the All Makes Omaha showroom is located today.
A century later, the company is owned by the same family and in addition to its Omaha headquarters has Nebraska branch locations in Lincoln, Columbus, Kearney, and North Platte, and an Iowa branch in Des Moines.
