Analysts called Kyocera a “shoo-in” for honor
All Makes partner Kyocera Copystar last week became the first and only winner of the new Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab (BLI) Award for Most Reliable Color Copier MFP Brand.

In its selection, Keypoint Intelligence described Kyocera as a “shoo-in” when compared to the reliability of all other color copiers tested and said that “Kyocera color models promise maximum uptime.”
“All of Kyocera’s color copiers demonstrated excellent reliability, with every device scoring 10 out of 10,” said George Mikolay, Associate Director of Copiers/Production on the Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab website. “With a low misfeed rate and zero service interventions required, Kyocera color copiers are designed to keep users productive.”
While the Keypoint Intelligence-Buyer’s Lab previously awarded individual machine performance, this was the first time it selected a whole line. Presented every two or three years, the Buyers Lab Reliability awards honors the manufacturers whose product lines are determined to be the most reliable. Buyers Lab analysts judged six years’ worth of the products’ data on several business-critical criteria, including: total tested impressions, number of misfeeds and service interruptions.
Kyocera Copystar, which began its partnership with All Makes nearly a decade ago, is known for its “unique, long-life imaging components that provide greater reliability and less waste,” which lowers the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) over the product’s life. This is crucial for clients such as those who depend on All Makes-provided technology to manage their most important business functions.
