Favorite part of the job: With over 20 years as a lead installer, I get to bring a lot of knowledge to this role and see things from a different perspective. That long in the industry I met a lot of people and made a lot of friendships which I still get to maintain.

Favorite part of the job: My favorite part of the job is getting to network with the community and work with so many different businesses to find their unique solution. I enjoy getting to meet people from all different industries and markets while learning their needs. It is particularly great getting to learn about local businesses. Getting to see the success and growth of Des Moines businesses and community is very motivating.
Favorite pastime: I enjoy spending my spare time trying new and challenging things, especially in the kitchen. I love the culinary arts and am exploring what Des Moines has to offer. Moreover, I am always trying new recipes and experimenting with food/flavors. You can also find me spending time at yoga class, the Botanical Garden, or volunteering with Mentor IA.
Favorite part of the job: I enjoy that every day is different, and each project is a new challenge. I may be space planning and designing offices, etc. daily, but I never feel like I’m doing the same old thing. I get to be creative and solve problems, making someone’s workplace better.
Favorite pastime: Traveling is the best way for me to recharge my batteries and find new inspiration. I enjoy international travel, experiencing different cultures, and seeing the world’s many landscapes. Within the United States, I’m on a mission to visit every MLB park.

Everyone at AllMakes strives to put the customer first and there are such positive vibes here that it is a joy to come to work every day.
Favorite pastime:
Family is everything for my wife and I. We love spending time with our adult children and their families and are patiently awaiting entering grandparenthood. We love to explore, travel and find new things in this great state of Nebraska. We are also huge Husker fans and cheer for Minnesota’s pro sports teams.

I live with my partner (Nikki) and our Husky (Selena). I love spending my time with our friends and family, we both have big families. We spend most of our time doing art and crafts, playing pool, playing video games, hiking, camping, or getting into any local events in the area. Favorite part of the job: Learning something new every day. Whether it is meeting with the salespeople and learning something about them or working with the commissions and solving an issue that I have been working on. It is very rewarding.
Favorite pastime: Going to sporting events, I always take a few trips to Kansas City to see Sporting KC play every year. I spend a lot of time with my wife and children. My oldest is into soccer so I try to teach him as much as I can. I used to go bowling a lot, hoping to get back into that when the children are a little older. I also love food, so trying new restaurants or cooking something new at home is great.
Favorite part of the job: Helping clients with their spaces, to make them more functional, and healthy.
Favorite pastime: Playing softball, and volunteering to coach softball and volleyball. Watching hockey, and spending time with family.

Favorite part of the job: Although I haven’t been working here for very long, I feel like all designers have their favorite part of the design process. During school and at my internship, I really enjoyed the problem-solving aspect of design. Trying to get things to fit into a space is kind of like putting together a really complicated puzzle that can be put together in many different ways. I like figuring out the best way to put things together so that the space functions the best way it can.
Favorite pastime: A lot of my hobbies that I enjoyed in high school, I put a pause on because I was so busy during college. Now that I have more free time, I am really looking forward to resuming painting and making art. I also really enjoy reading. Science fiction is my favorite book genre. Spending time with my family and friends is another way I like to spend my time.
Favorite part of the job: Working with numbers and getting to know the wonderful people that are at All Makes. I also enjoy being able to assist in different areas of the company.
Favorite pastime: Volunteering with different agencies, like Make a Wish Foundation, Salvation Army and the Frances House to name a few. I also enjoy spending time with my grandchildren.

The team has been incredibly inviting, making sure that the introduction to my new position has been as smooth as possible. I have already gotten to join on a few installs and meet some potential clients, which has been very enjoyable.
